Katherine earned the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential from the Grant Professional Certification Institute (GPCI) in 2012. Eligibility involves meeting objective criteria: years of work in the grants field; number of funded proposals; community service; professional development; and formal education. The GPC is a nationally-recognized credential that confirms mastery of the knowledge and practice of grantsmanship through formal validated testing. The GPC has become an industry standard that attests to qualifications better than any other grant writing certification program or college writing degree.
